La Fundaci\u00f3 Amancio Ortega l\u2019ha seleccionat pel seu expedient acad\u00e8mic i el seu bon nivell d\u2019angl\u00e8s i, a m\u00e9s, per aconseguir-ho ha hagut de passar unes proves de nivell i una entrevista. La Laia, que ha estat acompanyada i assessorada durant tot el proc\u00e9s per la seva tutora i professora d\u2019angl\u00e8s, S\u00f2nia Ruiz, conviur\u00e0 durant un any acad\u00e8mic amb una fam\u00edlia del Canad\u00e0 i cursar\u00e0 el grau 11, equivalent al nostre primer de batxillerat. La beca cobreix el viatge, l\u2019escolaritzaci\u00f3, l\u2019allotjament i la manutenci\u00f3. El curs seg\u00fcent podr\u00e0 continuar, si aix\u00ed ho vol, el segon de batxillerat al Pere Barnils.
