Pons Alorda<\/a> ens visitar\u00e0 aquest dimecres 19 a l\u2019institut Font del Ferro amb un recital que inclour\u00e0 fragments de la seva traducci\u00f3 al catal\u00e0 de l\u2019obra en vers<strong> <em><a href=\"https:\/\/edicions1984.cat\/cataleg\/el-preludi\/\">El preludi<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, del poeta rom\u00e0ntic angl\u00e8s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/William_Wordsworth\">William Wordsworth<\/a><\/strong> (1780-1850). Pons Alorda ha dedicat gaireb\u00e9 quatre anys a la feina de traduir aquesta obra, que l\u2019autor angl\u00e8s va anar escrivint al llarg de cinquanta anys i que es va publicar p\u00f2stumament.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Llicenciat en Filologia anglesa, Jaume C. Pons Alorda compagina l\u2019escriptura de creaci\u00f3 amb les traduccions. El 2014 va enllestir la versi\u00f3 en catal\u00e0 de <em>Fulles d\u2019herba,<\/em> de Walt Whitman, que ens va presentar a les aules de l\u2019institut fa cinc anys. Nascut a Caimari (Mallorca) i establert a Vilafranca del Pened\u00e8s, Pons Alorda \u00e9s un poeta que llegeix amb veritable fru\u00efci\u00f3, que encomana el gust per la paraula po\u00e8tica, que transmet passi\u00f3 i tendresa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aquest segon acte de <em><a href=\"http:\/\/poesialsbarracons.blogspot.com\/\">Poesia als barracons<\/a> <\/em>del curs 2020-2021 es celebrar\u00e0 a l\u2019aire lliure, a l\u2019espai de l\u2019institut que hi ha darrere de consergeria. Est\u00e0 previst que el poeta arribi a dos quarts d\u2019onze del mat\u00ed i que comencem a aquella hora.
