LINGUISTIC TRIP TO ENNIS<\/p>\n

Our school organized a linguistic trip to Ennis, Ireland, for seven days ( from the twenty-sixth of March to the first of April). We were thirty students and two teachers. All of us stayed in family houses.<\/p>\n

Ennis is the county town of Clare. The town is on the river Fergus, which flows east, then south into the Shannon estuary. The name Ennis comes from the Irish word \u201cInis\u201d which means \u201cisland\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the morning our students had classes focused on oral practice. Then they had a break of an hour and different extra activities in the afternoon such as: an orientation tour of Ennis ( with its narrow streets and colourful shops), drama and comic workshops, bowling, Irish sports like Hurling and Gaelic football and an excursion to the world famous Cliffs of Moher. The first day before going to Ennis we enjoyed a panoramic and walking Dublin tour.<\/p>\n

This year, at the Clare\u2019s Academy, we lived together with students of other nationalities like: Italians, Russians and from other parts of Spain. We shared classes and activities and had a great time.<\/p>\n

It has been an enriching and valuable experience and we are looking forward to repeat it next year!<\/p>\n
