Van poder con\u00e8ixer les\u00a0caracter\u00edstiques\u00a0i\u00a0<wbr \/>funcionament\u00a0dels\u00a0<wbr \/>aerogeneradors, aix\u00ed tamb\u00e9 les raons per les quals estan localitzats en aquest empla\u00e7ament. Els\u00a0aerogeneradors\u00a0reben aquest nom perqu\u00e8 converteixen l&#8217;energia e\u00f2lica en energia el\u00e8ctrica, mitjan\u00e7ant l&#8217;\u00fas d&#8217;un alternador. Els molins presenten unes dimensions enormes, tenen uns 80 metres d\u2019altura que \u00e9s tan alt com un pis d\u2019unes 26 plantes. Es preveu que per l\u2019any 2050, tota l\u2019energia el\u00e8ctrica que consumim proveir\u00e0 de les energies renovables, i l\u2019energia e\u00f2lica i tindr\u00e0 un paper molt important.
