L\u2019activitat, que es va dur a terme coincidint amb el Dia de la Ci\u00e8ncia 2023, va ser dirigida per Laia Ribas, una masnovina que, a principis d\u2019any, va crear un projecte pilot \u2013juntament amb vuit dones m\u00e9s\u2013 que consistia a despla\u00e7ar-se i viure durant 15 dies al desert de Utah, als EUA, simulant que es trobaven fent una expedici\u00f3 a Mart. Al llarg de la xerrada, els i les alumnes van poder descobrir les caracter\u00edstiques del planeta roig, els diferents experiments que van fer a Utah cadascuna de les dones participants d\u2019Hypatia I<br \/>\ni,finalment, van poder gaudir d\u2019un torn de preguntes obertes on van poder satisfer qualsevol curiositat que els hagu\u00e9s sorgit.
