On Friday 15th March, the students of 3rd<\/sup> of ESO were involved in a St Patrick \u2019s Day workshop which was sponsored by the Vicens Vives publisher. Edward Lockhart, professor at Rovira i Virgili University (URV), carried out some activities in order to make our students learn about this Irish tradition. Different legends were explained and some oral activities were done while the students were being encouraged to use the English language. The activity was very successful, the students finished the session very happy and, some of them would like to repeat the experience next year.<\/p>\n

El passat divendres 15 de mar\u00e7, els alumnes de 3r d\u2019ESO van poder gaudir\u00a0 d\u2019un taller sobre el dia de Saint Patrick, patrocinat per l\u2019editorial Vicens Vives. El professor de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) Edward Lockhart va dur a terme unes activitats per tal de donar a con\u00e8ixer als nostres alumnes aquesta tradici\u00f3 irlandesa. Es van explicar diverses llegendes i es van realitzar diferents activitats orals, animant als alumnes a utilitzar l\u2019angl\u00e8s coma llengua vehicular. L\u2019activitat va ser tot un \u00e8xit, els alumnes en van sortir contents i, alguns d\u2019ells, esperen poder tornar-ne a gaudir el proper curs escolar.<\/p>\n
