La facultat de Farm\u00e0cia i Ci\u00e8ncies de l’Alimentaci\u00f3 ha proposat un repte als estudiants de primer curs del cicle de Farm\u00e0cia i Parafarm\u00e0cia de l’institut: la recerca de soques bacterianes sospitoses de tenir activitat antibacteriana a mostres de s\u00f2l recollides a diferents \u00e0rees del Baix Llobregat. El repte es realitza al laboratori de farm\u00e0cia de l’institut Miquel Mart\u00ed i Pol de Cornell\u00e0 al llarg de cinc sessions en dies alterns. Els alumnes del cicle tamb\u00e9 han de realitzar treball de camp consistent en la pressa de mostres de s\u00f2l. Com a resultat del taller s’han aconseguit a\u00efllar soques sospitoses de tenir activitat antibacteriana procedents de les mostres obtingudes pels alumnes.Aquestes soques es guarden als laboratoris de la UB i, posteriorment, es realitzaran m\u00e9s assajos d’antibiosi contra soques multiresistents i es continuaran investigant per a la recerca de nous antibi\u00f2tics per part dels investigadors de la Universitat de Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Desenvolupant aquest repte, els alumnes s’han endinsat en el treball de recerca cient\u00edfica col\u00b7laborant amb investigadors, han apr\u00e8s t\u00e8cniques de mostreig i t\u00e8cniques de cultiu microbi\u00e0 i han pres consci\u00e8ncia sobre l’\u00fas racional dels antibi\u00f2tics i sobre la necessitat de descobrir nous f\u00e0rmacs antimicrobians.<\/p>\n

Han elaborat material divulgatiu de les tasques realitzades utilitzant programes de creaci\u00f3 de v\u00eddeo i materials audiovisuals realitzats durant les sessions. Veure video<\/a><\/p>\n
