Do you know Chinua Achebe, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, Bessie Head, Buchi Emecheta, Ng\u0169g\u0129 wa Thiong’o, John Richard Briley or Peter Abrahams? Have you read any of these books <\/span><\/span><\/span>When Rain Clouds Gather, No longer at Ease, Cry Freedrom, The Mistress of Spices, The Bride Price, Mine Boy, Things Fall Apart or Weep Not, Child<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>? <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If the answer to the questions is NO, you can ask 2<\/span><\/span><\/span>nd<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/sup> of Batxillerat students. They have all the information you need. They have been working on the authors and the readers for over a couple of months and now they have become \u2018experts\u2019. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today there has been a POSTER PRESENTATION and it has been a howling success. \u2018They have all shined bright like diamonds\u2019 as Rihanna sings. It has been an awesome opportunity for the students to learn about culture and traditions from English speaking countries different from Great Britain or the USA. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They have enjoyed the experienced very much. In their words \u2018It has been a dynamic, interesting activity.\u2019 \u2018We have been able to feel comfortable explaining the book to our classmates.\u2019 \u2018We have had the opportunity to ask details on the reader we were curious about.\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As a teacher, what else can I wish for? I want to congratulate all of them for their effort and positivity towards the experience. Here I leave some of their posters and presentations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
