El primer bloc que es treballa en aquesta mat\u00e8ria \u00e9s el de l&#8217;energia, i el repte plantejat \u00e9s el d&#8217;aconseguir l&#8217;increment de temperatura m\u00e9s elevat, en mitja hora, de 250 mL d&#8217;aigua, nom\u00e9s amb l&#8217;ajuda de l&#8217;energia solar i mitjan\u00e7ant una cuina solar.
