A la prov\u00edncia de Girona, hi ha un dels jaciments arqueol\u00f2gics m\u00e9s importants de Catalunya. En aquestes ru\u00efnes hi ha un museu d\u2019arqueologia, on es poden veure alguns dels objectes descoberts durant les excavacions. La ciutat d\u2019Emp\u00faries va ser\u00a0 la porta d\u2019entrada de les cultures cl\u00e0ssiques a la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e8rica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emp\u00faries\u00a0 \u00e9s l&#8217;\u00fanic jaciment on conviuen les restes d&#8217;una ciutat grega -la colonia d&#8217;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emporion<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; amb les d\u2019una ciutat romana: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emporiae. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aquesta darrera ciutat<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">va ser creada sobre les estructures d\u2019un campament militar rom\u00e0, instal\u00b7lat durant el segle III a.C. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emporion <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">va ser creada pels grecs a inicis del segle VI a.C. Emp\u00faries \u00e9s un lloc privilegiat per entendre l\u2019evoluci\u00f3 de l\u2019urbanisme grec creat a l\u2019extrem occidental de la Mediterr\u00e0nia i tamb\u00e9 per analitzar l\u2019urbanisme rom\u00e0 del per\u00edode final de la rep\u00fablica i la seva transformaci\u00f3 durant l&#8217;\u00e8poca imperial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les ru\u00efnes i el museu estan oberts durant tot l\u2019any.
