Per aquest motiu, 100 dones cient\u00edfiques van anar a 100 escoles i instituts d&#8217;arreu de Catalunya a explicar la seva feina i la seva vida de cient\u00edfiques, i quin va ser el seu proc\u00e9s per arribar a dedicar-se a la ci\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n<p>El nostre institut va ser un dels cent en qu\u00e8 hi va venir una cient\u00edfica a explicar-nos la seva hist\u00f2ria. L&#8217;<strong>Irma Roig<\/strong>, investigadora a l&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irta.cat\/ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>IRTA<\/strong><\/a> (Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Aliment\u00e0ria) i al\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cragenomica.es\/ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CRAG<\/strong> <\/a>(Centre de Recerca en Agrigen\u00f2mica), va oferir-nos una confer\u00e8ncia sobre la ci\u00e8ncia i tecnologia dels vegetals.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesfmompou\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu653\/2019\/02\/baixa.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5586 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesfmompou\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu653\/2019\/02\/baixa.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"303\" height=\"166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesfmompou\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu653\/2019\/02\/baixa.png 303w, https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesfmompou\/wp-content\/uploads\/usu653\/2019\/02\/baixa-300x164.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 303px) 100vw, 303px\" \/><\/a>Tot l&#8217;alumnat de 3r d&#8217;ESO de l&#8217;institut va poder gaudir d&#8217;aquesta xerrada, en qu\u00e8 l&#8217;Irma ens va explicar, entre altres coses, que hi ha m\u00e9s tecnologia en una fruiteria que en una botiga d&#8217;Apple, o que les diferents t\u00e8cniques de millora de vegetals per al consum alimentari inclouen encreuament amb varietats antigues, la promoci\u00f3 de mutacions, o la creaci\u00f3 de plantes transg\u00e8niques. Tamb\u00e9 ens va ensenyar com eren originalment els vegetals salvatges abans de tenir-los a les fruiteries: pl\u00e0tans plens de llavors, alberg\u00ednies de color verd i molt amargants, s\u00edndries amb polpa blanca i sense gust, etc.<\/p>\n<p>La xerrada s&#8217;emmarca dins de les activitats STEAM que du a terme l&#8217;institut des que va ser seleccionat per participar en aquest programa d&#8217;innovaci\u00f3. L&#8217;objectiu, a m\u00e9s d&#8217;ensenyar-nos ci\u00e8ncia i tecnologia, \u00e9s tamb\u00e9 fomentar vocacions cient\u00edfiques, especialment entre les noies.<\/p>\n<p>Esperem que tot plegat hagi alimentat l&#8217;esperit cient\u00edfic del nostre alumnat de 3r d&#8217;ESO.
