Abans per\u00f2 vam visitar les instal\u00b7lacions del\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Parc Cient\u00edfic de Barcelona, concretament el C<\/span>entre Nacional d&#8217;An\u00e0lisi G<span class=\"hiddenGrammarError\">en\u00f2mica (CNAG<\/span>), on hi ha els\u00a0seq\u00fcenciadors\u00a0d&#8217;ADN i la sala amb un s\u00faper ordinador\u00a0que interpreta les dades (&#8220;<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">big<\/span>\u00a0data&#8221;) que es generen en la\u00a0seq\u00fcenciaci\u00f3\u00a0d&#8217;ADN. Un\u00a0bioinform\u00e0tic ens va explicar el funcionament i la gran\u00a0capacitat d&#8217;aquest\u00a0s\u00faper ordinador.<\/p>\n<p>Al taller els alumnes\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenGrammarError\">van\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0a\u00efllar\u00a0ADN de diferents mostres de maduixes, algunes contaminades per un bacteri i altres no. Per descobrir-ho\u00a0 van\u00a0seq\u00fcenciar les mostres i aix\u00ed descobrir si hi havia ADN del bacteri.<\/p>\n<p>Per acabar, les investigadores responsables del taller ens van parlar una mica de la seva feina i aix\u00ed ens vam apropar al m\u00f3n de la recerca.
