Els alumnes de 1r d\u2019ESO van treballar vocabulari relacionat amb la sortida i van exposar les seves opinions, elaborant el seg\u00fcent article col\u00b7laboratiu en la mat\u00e8ria d\u2019angl\u00e8s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the 4th of November the three classes of 1st of ESO visited the prehistoric caves in Espluga de Francol\u00ed. We went by bus and our teachers were Ginesta, Gerard, Marc and Elisenda.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Some of the activities that we did there were, firstly, a visit inside the caves and secondly, an archaeological workshop.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The visit inside the caves was very interesting because the cavities were created thousands of years ago. They are made of conglomerate, a sedimentary rock. At the beginning of our visit we saw the inside of the caves and some human representations of the prehistoric people doing daily activities, such as hunting animals or preparing food. We also saw a small lake where ancient people did rituals. We really wanted to take photos of that magic lake but we weren\u2019t allowed to.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

During the visit, we also learnt how cavemen lived and some of its traditions. Besides, we discovered some of the objects that they used (an axe for example) or how they made fire with a rock called silex, among other activities. The guide explained that inside the caves lived some animals, such as bears, that we were able to see by means of holographics. That was amazing!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

One interesting thing that surprised us about the inside of the caves was a small lake. In front of it, we saw a video of how the rituals were performed. What was also a surprise was the caves\u2019 temperature. We thought it would be cooler.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Moving on to the archaeological workshop, this one was about finding animal and human remains. In teams, we had to discover some objects with specific tools such as shovels, brushes, a sieve, a pick and so on. We had to remove the dirt and excavate using specific tools, the same that archaeologists do everyday.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Finally, we had a great day and we learnt lots of new and useful information, like being archaeologists for one day !<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
