La jornada va comptar amb 11 instituts i 1.600 alumnes participants. La colla del Foix la van formar 60 alumnes de tots els cursos que van estar assajant durant 3 mesos en hores de pati i algunes de classe. Amb molt d&#8217;esfor\u00e7 i motivaci\u00f3 per part de la colla, els alumnes van aprendre molts aspectes sobre la cultura i t\u00e8cnica dels castells i els valors tradicionalment associats a aquesta activitat: treball en equip, pertinen\u00e7a al grup, companyonia, empatia, esfor\u00e7, comprom\u00eds&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>El dia del concurs va ser molt intens i emocionant, des de la decepci\u00f3 per no poder fer la torre de cinc amb figuereta que tant havien assajat, fins a l&#8217;euf\u00f2ria per descarregar tots els altres castells: 14 pilars de dos, 2 poms de dalt sobre un quatre, el nou de quatre net, i 2 pilars de tres traient el baix. Els Castellers del Foix van quedar en vuitena posici\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>En conclusi\u00f3, despr\u00e9s de totes les hores i esfor\u00e7os dedicats a aquest projecte, tota la colla est\u00e0 orgullosa de la feina feta i satisfeta per les emocions viscudes i els castells fets durant la celebraci\u00f3 del concurs.
