Aquesta \u00e9s una de les poques descripcions que Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez fa del rai que va salvar Luis Alejandro Velasco, protagonista del relat i personatge real, de morir ofegat al naufragi que va patir el 1955 al mar del Carib. Amb aquesta i altres indicacions, alguns alumnes de 2n d&#8217;ESO han constru\u00eft l&#8217;embarcaci\u00f3 de la novel\u00b7la. Fins i tot, un dels grups ha fet el vaixell de guerra del qual van caure vuit mariners, a causa del fort onatge i del sobrep\u00e8s de mercaderies de contraban que transportava el mateix govern colombi\u00e0. \r\n\t<div class=\"slideshow_container slideshow_container_style-light\" style=\"height: 500px;
