Kazantzakis no \u00e9s un autor que es recre\u00ef amb all\u00f2 banal i intranscendent. Res del que s\u2019allunyi de l\u2019essencial l\u2019interessa. I l\u2019essencial s\u2019identifica a la seva obra precisament amb la flama que esvaeix la foscor del m\u00f3n. En certa ocasi\u00f3 va escriure que no hem d\u2019estimar els homes, sin\u00f3 la flama que no \u00e9s humana i els fa cremar; que all\u00f2 veritablement valu\u00f3s \u00e9s la flama que transforma en foc aquesta palla humida, inquieta, rid\u00edcula a la qual anomenem humanitat. I que quan aix\u00f2 succeeix, quan l\u2019individu experimenta la reveladora pres\u00e8ncia d\u2019aquesta flama a la seva vida, ha de cridar. Tan important i substantiu esdev\u00e9 aquest crit que es pot considerar l\u2019\u00fanic acte que justifica i eleva l\u2019exist\u00e8ncia humana, tot fent-la brillar enmig d\u2019un immens oce\u00e0 de tenebres: \u00abTota la meva \u00e0nima \u00e9s un crit, i la meva obra \u00edntegra \u00e9s la interpretaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquest crit\u00bb.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">En aquest sentit, el text que proposem tot seguit,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><i>El Crist de nou crucificat<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">, b\u00e9 el podr\u00edem considerar una de les notes m\u00e9s belles i punyents d\u2019aquell crit, font alhora de totes les seves alegries i amargors d\u2019en\u00e7\u00e0 que el sent\u00ed per primera vegada a la joventut en apropar-se a la lluita implacable entre la carn i l\u2019esperit en la figura de Crist. Un Crist on la divinitat no \u00e9s do sin\u00f3 conquesta d\u2019un home que dubta i experimenta la temptaci\u00f3, que defalleix davant la missi\u00f3 encomanda, car no \u00e9s un D\u00e9u que es fa home, sin\u00f3 un home que somia amb la divinitat. D\u2019aquest somni l\u2019autor grec en deia religiositat.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">Kazantzakis no \u00e9s home d\u2019esgl\u00e9sia. Sovint a les seves obres, i de forma destacada a\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><i>El Crist de nou crucificat<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">, es critica el comportament poc religi\u00f3s dels monjos, sacerdots i bisbes als quals els retreu l\u2019abs\u00e8ncia de veritable espiritualitat en la seva conducta, quan no de ser un obstacle, i de vegades el principal, en el cam\u00ed de la religiositat.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Pocs dubtes tindr\u00e0 el lector, un cop llegida l\u2019obra, que l\u2019autor ha assimilat el missatge originari del cristianisme amb tota la seva puresa; \u00e9s aquesta la ra\u00f3 per la qual el seu protagonista no pot acabar sin\u00f3 bevent el calze amarg de l\u2019exist\u00e8ncia reservat a tot aquell que vol transformar la seva carn en esperit \u2014les tenebres no es deixen il\u00b7luminar. El fervor que desperta en Kazantzakis aquesta actitud \u00e9s el motiu que li fa admirar tota obra d\u2019art \u2014i en concret les pintures d\u2019El Greco\u2014 capa\u00e7 de plasmar l\u2019instant en qu\u00e8 les criatures de D\u00e9u cremen enmig d\u2019un paisatge fosc, alliberant tota la seva llum.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">Doncs b\u00e9, de llum, n\u2019hi ha molta a\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><i>El Crist de nou crucificat<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">, una novel\u00b7la que narra les vicissituds d\u2019una comunitat grega sota domini turc en un any que, tot i no concretat, es podria situar al voltant de la d\u00e8cada dels vint del segle passat. L\u2019ag\u00e0 turc, m\u00e0xima autoritat de la vil\u00b7la, permet una certa autonomia als habitants grecs que, organitzats al voltant d\u2019un Consell de Notables i Ancians, decideixen representar la passi\u00f3 de Crist segons una tradici\u00f3 reiterada cada set anys. Reunit el Consell, assigna els diferents papers als ve\u00efns de la vil\u00b7la, la vida dels quals comen\u00e7a a transformar-se a partir d\u2019aquell moment d\u2019acord amb la naturalesa del personatge interpretat. I aix\u00ed, en Manolios, el pastor humil escollit per representar la figura de Crist, acaba veient en el seu sacrifici per salvar la comunitat el dest\u00ed que l\u2019ha de reconciliar amb D\u00e9u, actitud que el revesteix d\u2019una autoritat moral inq\u00fcestionable davant la resta de personatges de la representaci\u00f3, el seu cercle \u00edntim, mentre el Consell de Notables de Licovris\u00ed, incl\u00f2s el popa, lluny de recon\u00e8ixer el valor moral de la seva actitud, l\u2019acabar\u00e0 acusant de bolxevic tot exigint el seu cap a l\u2019ag\u00e0.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Molts dels personatges de la novel\u00b7la formen ja part de la galeria dels grans personatges de la literatura del segle XX. Alguns d\u2019ells s\u2019aixequen com a veritables arquetips de certs trets de la conducta humana: el vell Ladas romandr\u00e0 en el record del lector com l\u2019expressi\u00f3 m\u00e9s depurada de l\u2019avar\u00edcia; l\u2019ag\u00e0, com el model perfecte del tir\u00e0; el popa, com a exemple del sacerdot hip\u00f2crita; la v\u00eddua Katerina, la dona sensual que interpreta el paper de Maria Magdalena, ser\u00e0 per sempre la imatge de qui redimeix el seu passat a trav\u00e9s del sacrifici per amor.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Kazantzakis, en reflectir uns models caracterol\u00f2gics purs, sense matisos ni tons grisos, ha pret\u00e8s crear l\u2019efecte d\u2019un violent clarobscur entre carn i esperit, a fi d\u2019emfatitzar all\u00f2 que diu Joan en el seu Evangeli: la llum ha vingut a casa seva i els seus no l\u2019han acollit.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">Finalitzem. En Manolios \u00e9s excomunicat a la novel\u00b7la pel popa Grigoris; Kazantzakis ho va ser tamb\u00e9 per l\u2019Esgl\u00e9sia Ortodoxa Grega, que va impedir que fos enterrat en cap cementiri. Les seves restes descansen a l\u2019antiga muralla de la ciutat natal, Heraklion, a l\u2019illa de Creta. A la seva tomba va escriure aquest epitafi: \u00abRes no espero, res no temo: s\u00f3c lliure\u00bb. \u00c9s el testament d\u2019un home que ha trobat per fi la s\u00edntesi entre carn i esperit, \u00e9s a dir, la felicitat.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: medium; text-align: left; text-indent: 1.25cm;\">[Antonio Delgado] \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NIKOS KAZANTZAKIS \u25ba\u00a0El Crist de nou crucificat El Club dels Novel\u00b7listes (cat.)
