Contr\u00e0ria a les tesis existencialistes i utilitaristes, desenvolup\u00e0 una \u00e8tica de caire plat\u00f2nic a la seva obra <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><i>The Sovereignty of Good<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">, on assign\u00e0 un paper central a l\u2019Amor i al B\u00e9, dos conceptes presents al llarg de la seva prol\u00edfica traject\u00f2ria i protagonistes de la novel\u00b7la que proposem en aquesta ocasi\u00f3, <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><i>El pr\u00edncep negre <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">(1973).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.35cm;\">L\u2019enigm\u00e0tic t\u00edtol de l\u2019obra fa al\u00b7lusi\u00f3 precisament a l\u2019eros, a l\u2019amor ent\u00e8s com a for\u00e7a tensional cap al B\u00e9, capa\u00e7 de transcendir l\u2019egoisme i d\u2019obrir el nostre \u00e9sser a l\u2019altre, fent-lo visible en el nostre horitz\u00f3 com a fi en si mateix. En aquest sentit, com a actitud subjectiva, l\u2019art i la moralitat s\u00f3n semblants: en tots dos la pres\u00e8ncia del subjecte impedeix reflectir el m\u00f3n tal com \u00e9s i distorsiona la visi\u00f3 de la realitat. Transcendir per tant la mirada autocentrada \u00e9s, des de la perspectiva d\u2019 I. Murdoch, el cam\u00ed que ha de seguir tant l\u2019\u00e9sser virtu\u00f3s com l\u2019artista, car l\u2019enemic d\u2019aquest, com en el cas de la moralitat, \u00e9s el propi jo.<\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.35cm;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">L\u2019argument de l\u2019obra gira al voltant d\u2019un escriptor, Bradley Pearson, que al llarg de la seva vida ha reflexionat for\u00e7a sobre el concepte d\u2019obra d\u2019art, meditaci\u00f3 que li ha fet escriure poc i adoptar una actitud d\u2019espera davant el moment en qu\u00e8 el silenci donar\u00e0 pas a una expressi\u00f3 vera\u00e7. L\u2019artista ha d\u2019esquin\u00e7ar el vel que l\u2019egocentrisme aixeca entre nosaltres i la realitat conscient de la dificultat de reeixir-hi ja que en comptades ocasions assoleix l\u2019objectiu d\u2019unificar aquella bigarrada col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 de representacions i estats d\u2019\u00e0nims que l\u2019assalten. Tan sols l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia de l\u2019aut\u00e8ntic amor possibilita aquell esquin\u00e7ament i permet una visi\u00f3 altruista que, en el camp de l\u2019art, fa reflectir la realitat d\u2019una forma veritable.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.35cm;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">En darrer terme <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><i>El pr\u00edncep negre<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">, m\u00e9s que no pas una hist\u00f2ria d\u2019amor entre Bradley Pearson i la jove Julian Baffin, esdev\u00e9 una reflexi\u00f3 sobre les condicions que fan possible que l\u2019art s\u2019obri a la veritat. El repte en qu\u00e8 I. Murdoch col\u00b7loca als set actors que intervenen en l\u2019obra no \u00e9s un altre que el de narrar vertaderament uns esdeveniments en qu\u00e8 tots han participat, per\u00f2 davant dels quals discrepen a l\u2019hora de valorar-los. Certament en aquest cas, com a qualsevol ficci\u00f3 liter\u00e0ria, el lector no t\u00e9 la possibilitat de contrastar el relat que ens presenta l\u2019autora amb cap referent real. Tot i aix\u00ed, la q\u00fcesti\u00f3 que ens planteja I. Murdoch a les acaballes de la novel\u00b7la \u00e9s pertinent: per qu\u00e8 una d\u2019aquestes veus fict\u00edcies sona vera\u00e7 i les altres no?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.35cm;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\">El narrador i protagonista, Bradley Pearson, ens relata la seva hist\u00f2ria un cop han transcorregut els esdeveniments narrats i el seu estat de consci\u00e8ncia \u00e9s ja ben diferent d\u2019aquell des del qual els va viure; per\u00f2 l\u2019editor (personatge que forma part de la ficci\u00f3 liter\u00e0ria) d\u00f3na la paraula sota la forma d\u2019ep\u00edlegs als personatges que intervenen en la trama per tal d\u2019obtenir un ventall de judicis sobre el relat de Bradley del qual formen part. \u00c9s ara, quan aquestes perspectives es posen de manifest, que el lector aprecia el diferent lloc des d\u2019on parlen uns i altres. En Bradley ho fa des d\u2019un estat de consci\u00e8ncia en qu\u00e8 ha purificat tota inger\u00e8ncia que pugui deformar la seva mirada retrospectiva, tot gaudint de la serenor de qui ha contemplat el B\u00e9. L\u2019amor que sent\u00ed cap Julian Baffin va constituir una fase necess\u00e0ria, ara ja superada, que ha perm\u00e8s a Bradley arribar a l\u2019estat d\u2019 equanimitat, d\u2019imparcialitat en el judici, del qual gaudeix mentre escriu \u2014un estat que I. Murdoch identifica amb la saviesa. De forma que b\u00e9 podr\u00edem dir que l\u2019amor ofereix les condicions per accedir al B\u00e9, tot i que es tracta de realitats distintes: dos moments de desigual valor en el cam\u00ed de la progressiva p\u00e8rdua de l\u2019ego cap a la veritat. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.35cm;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Tot i aix\u00ed, recordant el moment amor\u00f3s, en Bradley Pearson escriu aquestes belles paraules a les acaballes de l\u2019obra: <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.35cm;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><span style=\"background: #ffffff;\">\u00abDe la meva abra\u00e7ada t&#8217;escapes eternament. L&#8217;art no pot assimilar-te ni el pensament digerir-te. No en s\u00e9 res, ni desitjo saber-ne, de la teva vida. Per a mi t&#8217;has esva\u00eft en les ombres. Per\u00f2 m&#8217;adono, i penso en aix\u00f2, que en algun lloc rius, plores, llegeixes llibres, prepares menjars, badalles i per ventura jeus en els bra\u00e7os d\u2019un altre. Tamb\u00e9 confio que no negar\u00e9 mai aquest coneixement, ni oblidar\u00e9 en la humil, dura i aclaparada realitat de la meva vida el molt que et vaig estimar pel pas del temps. Aquest amor persisteix, Julian, no ha disminu\u00eft encara que vagi canviant, un amor amb un record molt clar i fidel. Aix\u00f2, curiosament, em causa un petit\u00edssim dolor. Nom\u00e9s de vegades, de nit, quan penso que vius i que ets en algun lloc, vesso ll\u00e0grimes.\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div lang=\"es-ES\" style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.35cm;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span lang=\"ca-ES\"><span style=\"background: #ffffff;\">[A.
