Alfaguara i Ed. del Bronce (castell\u00e0)<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/translate.google.es\/translate?hl=ca&amp;sl=en&amp;u=http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chinua_Achebe&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=translate&amp;resnum=1&amp;ct=result&amp;prev=\/search%3Fq%3DChinua%2BAchebe%26hl%3Dca%26rlz%3D1B3RNFA_esES250ES251\">Chinua Achebe<\/a> va n\u00e8ixer a Nig\u00e8ria l&#8217;any 1930. Escriptor en llengua anglesa, ha estat professor de literatura a universitats de Nig\u00e8ria i Estats Units, on resideix actualment. Coniderat des de la publicaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;obra <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Tot se&#8217;n va en orris (Things fall apart, 1958)<\/span> un dels creadors de la literatura moderna africana, Achebe \u00e9s un escriptor que descriu amb un estil senzill, \u00e0gil, amb frases curtes, luny de tot barroquisme i complexitat sint\u00e0ctica, la mentalitat de les comunitats tribals nigerianes en el moment de l&#8217;arribada de l&#8217;home blanc.<br \/>\nEn el cas d&#8217;aquesta obra, ho fa a trav\u00e9s d&#8217;un guerrer de les tribus dels ibo, Okonkwo, marcat pel passat del seu pare, un home fracassat, feble, covard als seus ulls, i per la por a ser comparat amb ell. Obsessionat per l&#8217;ombra d&#8217;una vida i una mort tan menyspreable com la que aquest va tenir, Okonkwo odiava tot el que el pare havia estimat, com ara la gentilesa, la dol\u00e7or, l&#8217;ociositat, caient en les actituds oposades.Incapa\u00e7 de controlar l&#8217;emoci\u00f3 de la ira i de demotrar afecte, violent amb els que l&#8217;envolten, irritable, Okonkwo, en virtud de la seva for\u00e7a i agilitat, s&#8217;acaba postulant com un dels homes de la tribu cridat a dirigir-la, a custodiar les seves tradicions, a vetllar per la unitat de la comunitat tot conservant els senyals d&#8217;identitat tradicionals.<br \/>\nAquests lligams s\u00f3n per ellsagrats, inq\u00fcestionables. Les normes de la comunitat s&#8217;han de complir; els rituals s&#8217;han d&#8217;observar per no ofendre els d\u00e9us; el cor, els sentiments humanitaris no hi juguen aqu\u00ed cap paper davant els costums, en ocasions cruels, de la tradici\u00f3 tribal.<br \/>\nLa primera part de la novel\u00b7la narra doncs la vida d&#8217;Okonkwo i la seva fam\u00edlia, tot constituint un document antropol\u00f2gic de valor inq\u00fcestionable. La mirada de Chinua Achebe en aquest punt, lluny de sentimentalismes, d&#8217;actituds nost\u00e0lgiques respecte d&#8217;un passat anterior a la colonitzaci\u00f3, descriu amb una gran objectivitatl&#8217;ordre tribal <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">des de dins<\/span>, aportant el testimoni del que ha estat colonitzat i no ha tingut veu en el discurs hist\u00f2ric sobre el proc\u00e9s de colonitzaci\u00f3.<br \/>\nA la segona part de la novel\u00b7la relata el moment del contacte entre el colonitzador i el colonitzat, la irrupci\u00f3 de la civilitzaci\u00f3 occidental en aquella tribu ind\u00edgena i els mecanismes que els europeus van fer servir per disoldre els lligams que els mantenien cohesionats com a comunitat. Okonkwo, observador privilegiat d&#8217;aquest proc\u00e9s, se n&#8217;adona que &#8220;l&#8217;home blanc ha tallat els lligams que ens mantenien units i tot se n&#8217;ha anat en orris&#8221;.<br \/>\nSi ens preguntem quina eina fa servir &#8220;l&#8217;home blanc&#8221; per tallar aquests lligams, ens trobem amb la resposta contundent d&#8217;Achebe posada en boca del guerrer Okonkwo: la religi\u00f3.<br \/>\nUn familiar que ha escollit el protagonista i la seva fam\u00edlia durant un exili de set anys lluny de la comunitat per un accident fatal, reconeix amb lucidesa el mateix Okonkwo sap dolorosament: &#8220;pateixo per vosaltres, els m\u00e9s joves, perqu\u00e8 no compreneu la import\u00e0ncia dels lligams familiars. No sabeu qu\u00e8 significa parlar amb una sola veu. I quin \u00e9s el resultat? Una religi\u00f3 abominable s&#8217;est\u00e0 escampant entre vosaltres. Avui dia sembla que un home pugui abandonar pare i germans. Pot maleir els d\u00e9us dels seus pares i els seus avantpassats, com ungos de ca\u00e7a que de cop es torna rabi\u00f3s i ataca el seu propi amo. Pateixo per vosaltres: pateixo pel clan. -Es va tornar a girar cap a Okonkwo i va afegir: -Gr\u00e0cies per aver-nos reunit.&#8221;<br \/>\nEn definitiva l&#8217;obra d&#8217;Achebe transcendeix la hist\u00f2ria d&#8217;un simple guerrer de la tribu nigeriana dels ibo: \u00e9s el relat d&#8217;un proc\u00e9s hist\u00f2ric, el de la colonitzaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;\u00c0frica equatorial- en aquest cas per part dels anglesos a les acaballes del segle XIX i comen\u00e7ament del XX &#8211; des de la mirada d&#8217;un nadiu que pren dolorosa consci\u00e8ncia que veritablement, <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">tot se&#8217;n va en orris.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CHINUA ACHEBE Tot se&#8217;n va en orris Edicions 62 (catal\u00e0) Ed.
