DIA INTERNACIONAL DE LA LLENGUA MATERNA<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

L\u2019any 1999 la Confer\u00e8ncia General de la UNESCO va proclamar el dia 21 de febrer<\/strong> Dia Internacional de la Llengua Materna amb l\u2019objectiu de fomentar la reflexi\u00f3 i la mobilitzaci\u00f3 al voltant de la diversitat ling\u00fc\u00edstica i el multiling\u00fcisme.<\/p>\n

Es va fixar el 21 de febrer com a data escollida en mem\u00f2ria dels incidents que van tenir lloc a Bangladesh l\u2019any 1952, quan la policia i l’ex\u00e8rcit de l’estat pakistan\u00e8s, que ocupava llavors aquest pa\u00eds, van obrir foc sobre la multitud dels parlants de bengal\u00ed que es manifestaven a favor dels seus drets ling\u00fc\u00edstics.<\/p>\n

Des del 1999, se celebra El Dia Internacional de la Llengua Materna cada 21 de febrer amb la finalitat de promoure el reconeixement i la pr\u00e0ctica de les lleng\u00fces maternes de tot el m\u00f3n i especialment les de les minories.<\/p>\n
