Va ser educada pel seu pare, ja que la seva mare va morir poc despr\u00e9s del naixement de Marguerite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La seva primera novel\u00b7la, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alexis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> o <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">el tratado del in\u00fatil combate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, va ser publicada l\u2019any 1929, quan tenia 26 anys. Va ser una gran escriptora, traductora, poetessa, dramaturga \u00a0i autora teatral francesa, algunes de les seves obres m\u00e9s importants van ser <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Memorias de Adriano (1951), Opus nigrum (1968) <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">i <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuentos Orientales (1938).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Escrivia en franc\u00e8s i \u00e9s coneguda per les seves novel\u00b7les hist\u00f2riques escrites amb un to po\u00e8tic i amb unes caracter\u00edstiques de saviesa plasmades en les seves obres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Utilitzava diversos g\u00e8neres com: l\u2019assaig, la poesia i, sobretot, la novel\u00b7la, que li va atorga una forta popularitat. I fins i tot va escriure tres volums de mem\u00f2ries familiars.
