Continua amb la proposta ferma des del departament de ci\u00e8ncies naturals a 3r d\u2019ESO amb pr\u00e0ctiques de laboratori en angl\u00e8s, v\u00eddeos i treballs en equip vers contingut biol\u00f2gic i qu\u00edmic, English in the lab and conversations with Lavoisier.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year at the IES Bellvitge, we have carried out a wide variety of activities using English as a vehicular language!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

As in previous years, the department of Natural Sciences of 3rd ESO has supported the implementation of practical activities in the lab. Students have seen videos in English and have worked with specific, content-based materials and conversations with Lavoisier\u00a0 in small groups <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

A Geografia i hist\u00f2ria de primer d\u2019ESO s\u2019ha fet \u00e8mfasi en l\u2019estructura piramidal de l’Antic Egipte, Pyramids of Pyramids! A segon hem viatjat als temps de Mahoma amb la carta d\u2019un personatge anomenada \u201cMuhammad\u2019s time\u201d.<\/p>\n

I la novetat, des de les classes de m\u00fasica de 1r ESO l\u2019alumnat s\u2019ha apropat a la llengua anglesa amb una activitat per Halloween anomenada \u201cCreepy Karaoke\u201d. Amb col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb la mat\u00e8ria anglesa, han cantat la can\u00e7\u00f3 de la pel\u00edcula \u201cSleepy Hollow\u201d de Walt Disney. \u201cDo you know how your voice works?\u201d ha estat la situaci\u00f3 d\u2019aprenentatge en angl\u00e8s on l\u2019alumnat ha apr\u00e8s el funcionament del seu cos quan canten i com poden classificar tant la seva veu com la dels seus \u00eddols musicals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aqu\u00ed<\/a><\/strong> teniu el resultat del producte musical.<\/span><\/p>\n

As far as Geography and History are concerned, our 1st ESO students have learned about the pyramidal structure of Ancient Egypt in English! Pyramids of Pyramids!! In 2nd ESO, students have gone back in time to the age of Prophet Muhammad by means of a letter from a very special character.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Finally, in the Music classes, for Halloween, 1st of ESO students were able to experience the English language through an activity we called \u201cCreepy Karaoke\u201d. After reading the short story of \u201cSleepy Hollow\u201d and watching the Walt Disney movie based on it, which they did as part of their English language subject, students sang one of the most popular songs of the movie.\u00a0 \u201cDo you know how your voice works?\u201d has been the learning situation that has allowed students to learn about how their body changes when they sing as well as how they can classify their own voice and those of their music idols.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
