From the 16th to the 20th of January, a group of 30 1st of Batxillerat students enjoyed the life and culture of one of the main cosmopolitan cities in Europe, London.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been an intense five day experience and the students could make the most of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students have visited some of the most iconic places such as The Tower of London, St Paul\u2019s Cathedral, The House of Parliament and the Big Ben ,\u00a0 Buckingham Palace or Picadilly Circus.They have also experienced the multicultural and lively atmosphere in London walking through different squares and markets. We have walked around Candem Town, Soho, Covent Garden,Hyde Park,\u00a0 Little Venice or along the River Thames\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

LONDON EXPERIENCE has also covered visits to the most relevant museums in the city. We have visited:<\/span><\/p>\n

Tate modern, <\/b>which has over a hundred years of art, from modernism in the early 1900s, to exciting works created today;<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

National Gallery,<\/b> where students have been able to see some of the world\u2019s most famous art masterpieces\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

British Museum,<\/b> which houses a vast collection of artefacts and objects from Ancient Egypt, Greece, Japan or Africa, among others. <\/span><\/p>\n

Natural History Museum, <\/b>where we could enjoy its great exhibition of dinosaurs<\/span><\/p>\n

Victoria & Albert museum<\/b> ,which<\/span> is the world’s largest <\/span>museum<\/b> of applied arts, decorative arts and design.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been a great experience! The students have enjoyed not only the city of London and its awesome atmosphere ,but they have also\u00a0 experienced how Londoners live.Our students have stayed with British families and so they have been able to see and share their way of life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Del 16 al 20 de gener, un grup de 30 alumnes de 1r de batxillerat va poder\u00a0 gaudir de la vida i cultura d\u2019una de les ciutats m\u00e9s cosmopolites d\u2019Europa, Londres. Encara que nom\u00e9s han estat cinc dies, els alumnes han aprofitat al m\u00e0xim aquesta “experience”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hem visitat alguns dels llocs m\u00e9s ic\u00f2nics de la ciutat, com The Tower of London, St Paul\u2019s Cathedral, The Big Ben, Buckinham Palace o Picadilly Circus. Tamb\u00e9 hem gaudit de l’ambient multicultural i vibrant de la capital brit\u00e0nica endinsant-nos a differents barris, parcs i mercats, com Candem Town, Soho, Covent garden, Hyde park o Little Venice, sense oblidar-nos de fer una agradable passejada per la vora del riu T\u00e0mesi.<\/span><\/p>\n

A m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, hem visitat els museus m\u00e9s rellevants de la ciutat, hem estat a la Tate Modern, National Gallery, British Museum, Natural History Museum i a l\u2019Albert and Victoria Museum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ha sigut una experiencia magnifica perqu\u00e8 els estudiants no nom\u00e9s han gaudit de la ciutat i tot el que aquesta ofereix, sin\u00f3 que han estat allotjats amb fam\u00edlies i per tant tamb\u00e9 han pogut veure de primera m\u00e0 com viuen els londinencs.<\/span><\/p>\n
