Our high school has been for three years participating in a pedagogical innovation program called Plurilingual Generation, or as we know it \u2026 GEP!<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to GEP, the 3rd year ESO students have had the opportunity to work on key concepts in Biology but … in English!\u00a0 At first sight,\u00a0 everything seemed a difficult odyssey but GEP activities turned out much more fun experience than we thought!<\/span><\/p>\n

The theory says that doing GEP the students increase the number of English hours exposure and this fact promotes our autonomy and language proficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

And in practice… We have achieved this by doing laboratory practices in English. For example, we had to dissect a lamb\u2019s heart and lungs. It was a great experience!<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, taking advantage of the fact that at the end of the school year we will visit the Aiguamolls de l\u2019Empord\u00e0, we have done a lot of activities to understand the functioning of the ecosystems.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to the good job and the cooperative work in teams we have seen how, in English, we can work on and understand quite complex biology concepts!<\/span><\/p>\n

A great GEP experience!<\/span><\/p>\n
