{"id":9351,"date":"2022-05-11T08:56:18","date_gmt":"2022-05-11T06:56:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesbde\/?p=9351"},"modified":"2022-05-11T09:05:16","modified_gmt":"2022-05-11T07:05:16","slug":"bde-high-school-takes-part-in-ted-ed-club-reus-baix-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/iesbde\/general\/bde-high-school-takes-part-in-ted-ed-club-reus-baix-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"BdE\u00a0High\u00a0School\u00a0takes part in\u00a0TED-ED Club Reus-Baix Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">TED-Ed Clubs are a part of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ed.ted.com\/student_talks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TED-Ed\u2019s Student Talks Program<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; a free curriculum for students and educators on a mission to identify, develop, and deliver students\u00b4\u00a0ideas via TED-style talks\u00a0under the slogan\u00a0\u201cideas worth spreading\u201d.\u00a0When it was founded, in 1984, TED (which stands for \u201cTechnology, Entertainment, and Design\u201d) brought together a few hundred people in a single annual conference in California.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 6 teams with 12 students of <strong>1st Bat<\/strong> participated in TED-Ed Club Reus-Baix Camp on the past <strong>3rd May<\/strong> at the <strong>Auditorium in l\u00b4Hospitalet de l\u00b4Infant<\/strong>. This educational project consisted of giving a 3-minute talk about the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>, carrying out this new challenge the pupils developed not only their creativity but also their oral communication skills.<\/p>\n<table class=\" aligncenter\" style=\"width: 68.5222%; border-collapse: collapse; border-style: none; height: 354px;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr style=\"height: 334px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 100%; border-style: none; height: 334px;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pRgNuF0KDtM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 20px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 100%; border-style: none; height: 15px; text-align: center; vertical-align: top;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Vandell\u00f2s Televisi\u00f3<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The task was included in the course curriculum and the most creative presentations were chosen to participate in this experience. During <strong>the Culture Days<\/strong> the participants rehearsed their speeches in an activity that simulated the Oscars and when all the presentations were given the conference attendees voted for their favourite one. The Oscar went to Team 3: <strong>Enara Cruxent<\/strong>, <strong>Judit Lanceta,<\/strong> &#8220;Fair Growth&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">List of\u00a0contestants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Team 1: Huayra de Andreotti: &#8220;Cheap is expensive in the long run&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Team 2: Desir\u00e9 Encinas, Lluc Cerd\u00e0, Marwa Ziani: &#8220;Powerful Letters&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Team 3: Enara Cruxent, Judit Lanceta: &#8220;Fair Growth&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Team 4: Damir Achmiz, Marco Figuerola: &#8220;World Peace&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Team 5: Jordi Com\u00ed: &#8220;What are your pronouns?&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Team 6: Ana Bel\u00e9n Alonso, Marina Curto, N\u00faria Gil: &#8220;Trash or Dare?&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The\u00a0convention\u00a0lasted\u00a0two\u00a0hours\u00a0and\u00a0at the end all the participants were awarded with a Certificate for participating in the TED Ed Club Talks 2022 edition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students\u00a0and teachers\u00a0eager to hear the\u00a0talks\u00a0had great fun.
