When it was founded, in 1984, TED (which stands for \u201cTechnology, Entertainment, and Design\u201d) brought together a few hundred people in a single annual conference in California.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">F<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">or the fourth consecutive year, our <strong>1st Bat students<\/strong> have participated in the TED Ed CLUB 2025 project, organized by the <strong>CRP (Baix Camp)<\/strong> and integrated into the English Language curriculum. Finally, on <strong>Monday<\/strong>, <strong>March 31<\/strong>, the final event took place at the <strong>municipal auditorium<\/strong>.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: large;\">The<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span>other two participating high schools, <strong>INS Cambrils<\/strong> and <strong>INS Miami<\/strong>, along with the CRP<span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0representatives joined<\/span>\u00a0us in our town and contributed positively to the event.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 100%; At first, I was nervous about public speaking but with\u00a0every\u00a0rehearsal, not only\u00a0have I\u00a0improved my ability to speak in public,\u00a0but\u00a0also\u00a0I have\u00a0learned\u00a0how\u00a0to structure my ideas clearly and effectively. It was a good chance to do something new that we had never done before. I like this kind of project because working on our own gives us more freedom to do\u00a0it\u00a0our way. I&#8217;m very pleased with our final result\u00bb.\u00a0<strong>Amaia Guerrero Lozano (1st BAT B)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00abWhen I first heard that we would be doing TED Talks in the English classes, I wasn\u2019t sure what to expect. I had watched a few TED Talks before but had never imagined giving one myself. One of the biggest lessons I took away from this was the ability of making the audience interact. I learned that a great presentation isn\u2019t just about sharing information, it\u2019s about making people connect with your ideas. This experience also helped me understand the importance of confidence when speaking in front of others. Instead of just focusing on my words, I learned to focus on how I delivered them. Since then, this experience has changed the way I give presentations in other subjects. Whether I\u2019m speaking in chemistry, Catalan, or any other class. I\u2019m very grateful for being part of this experience, I had a lot of fun while learning a new way of delivering presentations\u00bb. <strong>Guillem Callau Espinola (1st BAT B)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00abMy opinion about the TED Talk is positive. I think it was well-structured and well-organized. The classes we had before starting the TED project were helpful and prepared us for the task. The TED site also was useful for us. I found it interesting and a great way to work in class, practice our pronunciation, and improve our presentation in front of an audience.
