    Last weekend (12-14 March), students at Josep Brugulat High School participated as Delegates in the\u00a0 Regional Sessions of the European Youth Parliament. They worked\u00a0 in committees to reach agreements about general interest. Our students performed outstandingly and can be selected to represent young people during the National Assembly,\u00a0 so we congratulate them for having engaged in the experience.<\/h6>\n

    Throughout this last weekend (12-14 March), four students at Josep Brugulat High School participated as Delegates in the Regional Sessions of the European Youth Parliament.<\/h6>\n
    Martina Ahumada and Laura Llandrich, year 4 ESO; and Patrizia Lleal and Paula Bosch, year 1 BAT engaged in a 3-day experience which brought them to debate and share their thoughts on crucial issues affecting today\u2019s EU political agenda. They got acquainted with students from other schools in the region and worked hard on pursuing consensus in 5 different committees: Cultures and Education; Development; Economic and Monetary Affairs; Environment, Public Health and Food Safety; and Transport and Tourism.<\/h6>\n
    After reading closely the academic material they were given in advance, they had to do some research on their own to gain confidence and structure an original stand on the issues to be put across in the aforementioned debates. All of them performed outstandingly from beginning to end.<\/h6>\n
    Finally, each committee brought the agreements reached into voting in the General Assembly which took place on Sunday morning. The delegates selected to be part of the National Assembly will be notified by the EYP jury within the upcoming weeks. We congratulate them all!
