En el primer, hem comen\u00e7at tirant 10 xinxetes i recomptant les vegades que queda &#8220;amb la punta cap amunt&#8221; o en &#8220;una altra posici\u00f3&#8221; i hem anotat les freq\u00fc\u00e8ncies relatives. Passats uns dies, tornem al mateix lloc i agafem una bona mostra de peixos i mirem quants porten anella. Podem suposar que la proporci\u00f3 de peixos amb anella en tot l&#8217;estany \u00e9s igual a la proporci\u00f3 de peixos amb anelles a la segona mostra agafada. \u00a0Hem simulat aquest experiment calculant quants de cigrons hi ha en un quilogram de cigrons. N&#8217;hem agafat un grapat, els hem pintat amb retolador i els hem retornat a la bossa. Despr\u00e9s de remenar-los b\u00e9 hem agafat una segona mostra i hem comptat quants n&#8217;hi havia\u00a0de pintats. Amb una senzilla regla de tres un grup de la classe ha trobat una bona aproximaci\u00f3 al nombre total de cigrons, els altres grups \u00a0ens hem quedat lluny del valor real perqu\u00e8 la mostra que hem agafat inicialment era massa petita.
