This year, in English class, the 4th ESO students have started to work on getting a job, so they have been writing their CVs and role-playing job interviews. Grouped in pairs, they have made up a company, outlined a job position there, and assigned themselves the roles of interviewer and job candidate. Then, while the former talked about requirements and conditions, and asked about education, experience and skills, the latter had to answer by putting her or himself in the best possible light.
We’ve had everything from software engineers to make-up artists, chefs, doctors, nurses, firefighters, flight attendants or hairdressers. It has been really fun.
