My extensive experience as an English teacher with teenagers has helped me to cope with difficult times such as those we have experienced in recent years with a global pandemic.<\/p>\n

At school we have seen how many of our teenage students have suffered a lot emotionally after the pandemic. Therefore, one of the priorities that I have put into practice in my English classes has been to strengthen their self-esteem.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Through competential activities, the application of evaluation measures such as co-evaluation, and the elaboration during the third term of their own Portfolio, the students of my “London” group of 4th ESO improved their confidence and became aware of their own learning process.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Teaching them through group activities in which communication is the main aspect has facilitated motivation in one of the most disgusting point, grammar.<\/p>\n

An added value to language learning in our school, and which most of my students have been able to experience, is the Erasmus Programme, which includes mobility abroad of a minimum duration of one week and hosted by families.<\/p>\n

Their experiences are unique and the skills and values they acquire are a lifelong learning.<\/p>\n
