In Science we are learning about layers of the Earth and tectonic plates. We made an experiment to understand what happens when tectonic plates move.
Convergent movement: tectonic plates push into each other and they cause EARTHQUAKES, VOLCANOES, MOUNAINS
Divergent movement: tectonic plates pull apart and they cause EARTHQUAKES and OCEAN FLOOR.
Transforming movement: tectonic plates sledge into each other and they cause EARTHQUAKES
In the experiment cookies represent tectonic plates and the cream represent the litosphere.
