L’Erasmus+ d’enguany entre Catalans i Holandesos ha prosseguit el seu camí amb dues sortides de nivell: Barcelona i Montserrat!
El passat dimecres 26, l’alumnat d’ambdós països va agafar l’autocar ben d’hora per fer una escapada a l’emblemàtica Sagrada Família. Els companys holandesos que no havien estat mai al temple anteriorment, en van quedar meravellats. Després d’una hora i mitja de visita, es va fer un recorregut pel centre de la ciutat. El barri gòtic, les Rambles i el port vell en van ser l’objectiu essencial. Després de dinar, els participants a l’activitat van gaudir d’una estona de temps lliure, per així poder obtenir bons souvenirs com a recordatori de la seva estada a la capital catalana.
Sense massa temps per a descansar, el dijous 27 es va proposar un test costerut: pujar a peu fins al pic de St. Jeroni, a les muntanyes de Montserrat. Els nostres partners forans viuen en un país on gran part del territori es troba tot just per sobre del nivell del mar, i per a ells va ser tot un repte aconseguir fer cim! Malgrat uns primers compassos de força cansament, tothom va poder arribar a Sant Jeroni, i des d’allà contemplar les magnífiques vistes cap a les planures de l’interior i als pirineus catalans del fons. Després d’un merescut dinar a tocar del funicular, es va fer baixada fins al Monestir abans que l’autocar retornés els valents a casa.
Dues excursions molt ben aprofitades, i amb la meteorologia fent-nos costat en tot moment!

This year’s Erasmus+ exchange between Catalan and Dutch students has continued its journey with two top-level outings: Barcelona and Montserrat!
On Wednesday 26th, students from both countries set off early by coach for a trip to the iconic Sagrada Família. The Dutch students who had never visited the temple before were amazed by its beauty. After an hour and a half of exploring, they took a tour through the city center. The Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas and the Old Port area were the main highlights. After lunch, the participants enjoyed some free time to pick up souvenirs as mementos of their stay in the Catalan capital.
With little time to rest, Thursday 27th brought a tough challenge: hiking up to the peak of St. Jeroni in the Montserrat mountains. Our foreign partners, who come from a country where much of the land lies just above sea level, found reaching the summit a real challenge! Despite initial fatigue, everyone managed to make it to Sant Jeroni, where they admired the breathtaking views of the inland plains and the distant Catalan Pyrenees. After a well-deserved lunch near the funicular, the group descended to the Monastery before the coach took the brave hikers back home.
Two fantastic excursions, making the most of every moment—with perfect weather on our side throughout!
