A l’I-E ja estem d’Erasmus+!
Després de mesos d’espera, hem encetat aquest dilluns el projecte Erasmus+ 24/25 amb la rebuda dels 4 professors i 16 estudiants holandesos previstos, tots ells provinents de l’escola Campus 013 (Tilburg). El lema d’enguany és “Traditional sports and nature for a greener future.” Ha estat una diada festiva ben emotiva que s’ha estructurat segons l’horari consensuat pels membres de la Comissió Erasmus+ del centre.
Els nostres convidats s’han personat puntualment al pavelló d’esports en companyia dels seus homòlegs de 3r d’ESO per tal de participar en una roda d’activitats de coneixença. A continuació, una comitiva de capgrossos ha guiat els participants al pati de l’escola, on s’ha dut a terme l’acte protocol·lari de presentació i rebuda oficials d’aquest programa internacional, a càrrec de l’Equip Directiu i la Comissió Erasmus+. L’acte ha comptat també amb la participació de dos membres de l’Ajuntament d’Òdena. S’han adreçat parlaments en anglès, s’han representat mostres de balls tradicionals, i com és típic en projectes d’aquest estil, hi ha hagut intercanvi d’obsequis entre catalans i holandesos.
Després d’esmorzar, els alumnes de 3r han detallat als seus companys forans en què consistirà aquesta setmana de trobada presencial entre centres. Ho han explicat mitjançant presentacions digitals prèviament treballades a l’aula. Amb unes dinàmiques de lleure en clau esportiva s’ha arribat a l’hora de dinar, on els nostres companys d’Holanda han pogut fer un bon tast de productes típics catalans amb la col·laboració inestimable de l’equip del Castell de Plats. seguidament, un parell de professors de l’I-E ha dut la comitiva holandesa a una ruta de descobriment d’Òdena i el seu entorn.
L’alumnat de 3r d’ESO no participant al programa Erasmus+ ha assistit a totes les activitats previstes en aquest primer matí de trobada internacional. A la tarda, han prosseguit les activitats escolars habituals.
Com veieu, ha estat un dia atípic però ple d’activitat i diversió de principi a fi.

The Erasmus+ programme is back at I-E Castell d’Òdena!
After a long wait, this Monday we have officially launched the Erasmus+ Programme 24/25 with the arrival of the 4 Dutch teachers and 16 students from Campus 013 (Tilburg). This year’s theme is “Traditional sports and nature for a greener future.” It has been an emotional festive day, structured according to the schedule agreed upon by the Erasmus+ Committee of our school.
Our guests have arrived at the sports hall at 08:00am, accompanied by their 3rd-year ESO partners, to participate in an ice-breaker session. Afterwards, a group of capgrossos (traditional Catalan big-headed figures) has led the participants to the school yard, where the official welcoming ceremony has taken place. It has been hosted by the school’s Management Team and the Erasmus+ Committee. The event has also seen the participation of two representatives from the Òdena Town Hall. Speeches have been delivered in English, traditional dances have been performed, and, as is customary in such projects, gifts have been exchanged between Catalan and Dutch participants.
After breakfast, the 3rd-year students have explained to their international peers what this exchange week will be like. They have showed digital presentations they had previously prepared in class. The morning has continued with sports-based recreational activities, leading up to lunchtime. During lunch, our Dutch guests have had the opportunity to enjoy a selection of traditional Catalan dishes, thanks to the invaluable collaboration of the Castell de Plats team. Afterwards, two I-E teachers have guided the Dutch delegation on a discovery tour of Òdena and its surroundings.
The 3rd-year students not participating in the Erasmus+ program have attended all the planned activities of this first morning of the international exchange. In the afternoon, the regular school activities have resumed.
As you can see, it has been an unusual but action-packed and fun-filled day from start to finish!
