<\/a><\/p>\nThis December, the <\/span>Magic Box<\/b> visited our classrooms again. Both groups went together to discover what was hiding inside.<\/span><\/p>\n In the past years, the Magic Box brought us a <\/span>Snowman<\/b> in I4, <\/span>Santa Claus<\/b> in I5, and <\/span>Rudolph<\/b> last year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n So\u2026 what would it be this time? When we opened it, we found a <\/span>gingerbread cookie!<\/b><\/p>\n The English teachers told us a long and exciting story:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cStop!\u201d shout the old man and the old woman, but the gingerbread man doesn\u2019t stop.<\/span><\/i> First, he meets a cow. \u201cStop! I want to eat you!\u201d shouts the cow.<\/span><\/i> Then he meets a horse. \u201cStop! I want to eat you!\u201d But again, he runs very fast: \u201cYou can\u2019t catch me!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Finally, he meets a fox. The fox says: \u201cStop, I don\u2019t want to eat you. I want to be friends.\u201d<\/span><\/i> The fox says: \u201cI can help you. Sit on my tail.\u201d Then: \u201cSit on my back.\u201d<\/span><\/i> We enjoyed this exciting story very much! Everyone shared <\/span>their favourite part<\/b> and drew it. Then we drew the <\/span>story sequence<\/b> so we could learn it well and explain it to our families.<\/span><\/p>\n After that, we thought about the sentence <\/span>\u201cI can run faster than\u2026\u201d<\/b> and we wrote and illustrated our own ideas. We got very funny answers like:<\/span> Finally, we learned the <\/span>recipe to make gingerbread cookies<\/b>, so we can try baking them at home!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This December, the Magic Box visited our classrooms again. The old woman bakes a gingerbread cookie with a head, two eyes, a nose, a mouth, arms and legs. She puts it in the oven. Suddenly, she hears a little voice saying: \u201cOpen the door!\u201d When she opens the oven, the cookie jumps out and starts running.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
\n<\/span><\/i>\u201cYou can\u2019t catch me! I\u2019m the Gingerbread Man!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
\n<\/span><\/i>But the gingerbread man keeps running: \u201cYou can\u2019t catch me!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
\n<\/span><\/i>But the gingerbread man keeps running\u2026 until he finds a river. He can\u2019t swim!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
\n<\/span><\/i>Then: \u201cSit on my nose.\u201d And when they reach the other side, the fox jumps up, opens his mouth and\u2026 eats the gingerbread man!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\n<\/span>\u201cI can run faster than a robot!\u201d<\/b>, <\/span>\u201cI can run faster than my baby brother!\u201d<\/b>,<\/span>
