Santa! 🎅 

Before Christmas, the Magic Box visited our I5 classes again, and this time it was full of clothes! Inside we found a hat, a jacket, gloves, socks, boots, a belt, a big bag, and even a present!

We wondered: Who do these clothes belong to? Of course… Santa Claus!

We discovered that Santa had lost all his clothes, and the English teachers told us a funny story called “Santa Gets Dressed.” In the story, Santa falls asleep on Christmas Night, he wakes up very confused, and can’t find his clothes. Luckily, the little elves help him to get dressed and get ready to deliver the presents!

We learned many new clothing words, and we played a Bingo game to help us remember all the vocabulary! We also received a drawing of Santa without clothes, and we listened to a dictation with the clothes and colours he needed to wear. It was great fun!

The English teachers also taught us a poem related to the story:

Santa, Santa, hurry up!

It’s getting late, it’s getting dark!

Put on your jacket, 

put on your boots,

put on your hat 

and let’s fly high!

We love repeating the poem and acting it out! We also learned a Christmas song and created a Santa Claus postcard to take home.
