Anar a a veure teatre en anglès és una manera enriquidora perquè l’alumnat es familiaritzi amb la llengua de forma natural i motivadora. Veure els actors en directe, seguir l’argument i reconèixer expressions els ajuda a millorar la comprensió oral i a ampliar el vocabulari.

A més, el teatre desperta emoció i interès, així, els infants estan més receptius. Des del centre fem un treball previ i posterior a l’aula, que els prepara per aprofitar al màxim l’experiència i reforça els continguts treballats.

A l’Escola Sant Jordi, el teatre en anglès s’organitza adaptant-se a les diferents edats i nivells: s’organitza una obra per a l’alumnat d’I4 a P2, un altre grup per a P3 a P6, i al llarg del curs també es realitza un teatre per a I3.

Aquesta activitat complementa la feina que fem al llarg del curs i apropa l’anglès a situacions reals.

Going to see a play in English is an enriching way for students to become familiar with the language in a natural and motivating way. Watching the actors live, following the storyline, and recognizing expressions helps them improve their listening and speaking skills and expand their vocabulary.

In addition, theatre sparks emotion and interest, making children more receptive. At our school, we carry out preparatory and follow-up work in the classroom to help them make the most of the experience and reinforce the content studied.

At Sant Jordi School, English theatre is organized according to different ages and levels: one play is arranged for students from I4 to P2, another for P3 to P6, and throughout the year there is also a theatre activity for I3.

This activity complements the work we do throughout the school year and brings English closer to real-life situations.
