La principal necesidad de nuestro centro que nos impulsa a llevar a cabo este proyecto es la falta de un Plan de Convivencia para la gesti\u00f3n del centro y de sus actividades. En nuestra escuela se imparte ense\u00f1anza infantil y primaria y hay gran diversidad cultural, ling\u00fc\u00edstica, econ\u00f3mica, social e ideol\u00f3gica que con frecuencia ocasiona conflictos de dif\u00edcil soluci\u00f3n sin una metodolog\u00eda espec\u00edfica y unas pautas claras con las que trabajar.<\/p>\n<p>Necesitamos unos acuerdos previos y un consenso de toda la comunidad educativa para establecer un protocolo claro a seguir que regule la convivencia. Como el nombre del proyecto indica, queremos fomentar una actitud &#8220;positiva&#8221; tanto en profesorado, como en las familias y alumnos y, as\u00ed, solucionar nuestros problemas de una forma dialogada y &#8220;positiva&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestro centro ha llevado a cabo proyectos de innovaci\u00f3n educativa que lo convierten en un referente en la zona. Todos ellos contemplan la diversidad ling\u00fc\u00edstica y cultural como base de nuestra convivencia. Actualmente estamos trabajando los valores de la Uni\u00f3n Europea que fomentan la igualdad, la no discriminaci\u00f3n, la libertad, etc. Creemos que este es un buen punto de partida para la implementaci\u00f3n de un Plan de Convivencia que nos lleve a la formaci\u00f3n integral de nuestros alumnos y que se fundamente en valores como la pluralidad y el respeto a las diferencias, la gesti\u00f3n positiva de los conflictos y la cultura de la paz.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo principal de este Plan de Convivencia es contemplar unas actuaciones preventivas, orientadas a crear actitudes positivas en los alumnos, unas actuaciones de intervenci\u00f3n en la resoluci\u00f3n de conflictos y, por \u00faltimo, unas actuaciones que permitan al centro gestionar los procesos necesarios para trabajar la convivencia.<\/p>\n<p>Los objetivos principales del proyecto &#8220;Be Positive&#8221; son:<br \/>\n&#8211; Crear una comisi\u00f3n para la reflexi\u00f3n conjunta de nuestras necesidades y sentar las bases del Plan de Convivencia.<br \/>\n&#8211; Redactar un Plan de Convivencia basado en los Derechos Humanos, en la dignidad de la persona y en los valores que promueven los sistemas educativos de la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<br \/>\n&#8211; Asegurar la implicaci\u00f3n de toda la comunidad escolar en la elaboraci\u00f3n de este Plan, fomentando la comunicaci\u00f3n y el trabajo colaborativo.<br \/>\n&#8211; Adquirir la formaci\u00f3n necesaria en aspectos tan importantes como la inclusi\u00f3n, el absentismo escolar, la conducta pre-adolescente y la cohesi\u00f3n social.<br \/>\n&#8211; Ofrecer, mediante el Plan de Convivencia, un buen clima de trabajo que contribuya a la mejora de los resultados acad\u00e9micos de los alumnos.<br \/>\n&#8211; Trabajar en cooperaci\u00f3n con profesores y alumnos de escuelas europeas para aprender de su experiencia en materia de convivencia.<br \/>\n&#8211; Mejorar las competencias en lengua inglesa de profesores y alumnos, tanto con la formaci\u00f3n en Reino Unido, como mediante la colaboraci\u00f3n con escuelas del resto de Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Con respecto a la metodolog\u00eda, fomentaremos el trabajo cooperativo en la elaboraci\u00f3n de la normativa de convivencia, creando estrategias para favorecer la participaci\u00f3n de los profesores, del alumnado y de sus familias. Estableceremos contacto presencial mediante observaci\u00f3n directa, con escuelas del resto de Europa y tambi\u00e9n usaremos las TIC para realizar un trabajo colaborativo y difundir nuestros resultados. Aplicaremos la formaci\u00f3n adquirida durante las movilidades para enriquecer este proyecto. Haremos extensiva esta formaci\u00f3n al resto de profesores del centro mediante cursos de formaci\u00f3n interna.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las actividades que tenemos previstas podemos destacar:<br \/>\n&#8211; La creaci\u00f3n de una comisi\u00f3n para coordinar la elaboraci\u00f3n del Plan de Convivencia.<br \/>\n&#8211; El trabajo de las normas de clase los valores b\u00e1sicos de la convivencia adaptados a la edad de los alumnos.<br \/>\n&#8211; Debates y asambleas de estudiantes que favorezcan la comunicaci\u00f3n.<br \/>\n&#8211; Establecer de la figura del mediador.<br \/>\n&#8211; Actividades sobre la paz y la no violencia en la resoluci\u00f3n de conflictos actuales.<br \/>\n&#8211; Celebraci\u00f3n de &#8220;La Semana de las Lenguas y las Culturas&#8221; para trabajar el respeto y la pluralidad.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a los resultados y repercusi\u00f3n, los ocho profesores implicados en las movilidades adquirir\u00e1n la formaci\u00f3n necesaria para la elaboraci\u00f3n del Plan de Convivencia. Todos estos conocimientos influir\u00e1n a medio plazo en su evoluci\u00f3n personal y profesional y repercutir\u00e1n de manera favorable en la educaci\u00f3n de nuestros alumnos, mejorando la convivencia en el centro como reto a conseguir. A largo plazo, unas pautas de convivencia claras en la escuela son una apuesta segura para convertir a nuestros alumnos en personas capaces de convivir en una sociedad plural y comprometerse en su mejora.<\/p>\n<p>Como dijo Robert Hutch: &#8220;El objetivo de la educaci\u00f3n es preparar a los j\u00f3venes para que se eduquen a s\u00ed mismos durante toda su vida&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT IN ENGLISH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project \u2018Be Positive\u2019 is the result of a mature reflection about our school strengths and weaknesses in the rules of co-existence that we actually apply to solving the problems that occur in our daily routine. The main need of our school that makes us think about this Project is the lack of a Coexistence Plan for managing the activities in the school. We teach Primary and Pre-primary children from different cultural, economical, linguistic, social and ideological background and it sometimes causes conflicts that are very difficult to solve if we do not have clear guidelines to work with.<\/p>\n<p>We need previous agreements and a consensus of all the members of the educational community to establish a clear protocol to follow that regulate the school coexistence. As its name suggests, we want to promote a \u2018positive\u2019 teacher, pupil and family attitude to solve our problems through dialogue in a \u2018positive\u2019 way.<\/p>\n<p>Our school has carried out innovative educational projects that make it a benchmark in our zone. All of them take into account the linguistic and cultural diversity as a base for school life. Now, we are working on the European Union values that promote equality, no discrimination, freedom, etc. We think that this is a great starting point for the implementation of a Coexistence Plan that will help us in the all-round development of our pupils and it will be based in values as plurality and respect for differences, positive solutions for the conflicts and culture of peace.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of this Coexistence Plan is to use preventive actions to create positive attitudes in our pupils, actions to involve in the resolution of conflicts and, last of all, but not the least, actions that help the centre to manage the necessary processes to work the coexistence.<\/p>\n<p>The main objectives of the project \u2018Be Positive\u2019 are:<br \/>\n&#8211; To create a commission for joint reflection about our needs and form the basis of the Coexistence Plan.<br \/>\n&#8211; To write a Coexistence Plan based on the Human Rights, in the human dignity and in the values that the European educational systems promote.<br \/>\n&#8211; To assure the implication of all the members of the educational community in the development of the plan, promoting communication and collaborative work.<br \/>\n&#8211; To help teachers to take training about inclusion, school absenteeism, preadolescents&#8217; behaviour and social cohesion.<br \/>\n&#8211; To offer, by means of the Coexistence Plan, a comfortable working environment that contributes to the improvement of the academic results of students.<br \/>\n&#8211; To work in a collaborative way with teachers and students of other European schools to learn from their experience in the area of coexistence.<br \/>\n&#8211; To improve the teachers and students\u2019 skills in English language, with the teachers training in the United Kingdom or using new technologies with other European schools.<\/p>\n<p>Concerning the methodology, we will encourage the collaborative work in the development of the coexistence rules, creating strategies to promote the participation of teachers, students and their families. We will contact with other European schools visiting them and using new technologies to cooperate with them or disseminate results. We will apply the learning acquired during our stay in England to improve our project. We will extend our new ideas and methodology to the rest of the teachers in the school by means of training courses.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the activities that we want to do are:<br \/>\n&#8211; Create a commission to coordinate the development of the Coexistence Plan.<br \/>\n&#8211; Work classroom rules and the basic coexistence values adapted to the age of the pupils.<br \/>\n&#8211; Debates and assemblies of students to improve communication skills.<br \/>\n&#8211; Establish the figure of the mediator.<br \/>\n&#8211; Activities about peace and no violence in the resolution of conflicts.<br \/>\n&#8211; Celebration of the \u201cLanguages and Cultures Week\u201d to work respect and plurality.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to the results and impact, the eight teachers who will do the teacher training, will acquire the specific knowledge to develop the Coexistence Plan. All this knowledge gained will be very important for our personal and professional development and it will have a significant impact on the education of our pupils, improving the coexistence at school as an important challenge.
