This morning, on January 31st, the final day of the Spring Festival according to the Chinese calendar, Year 5 and Year 6 students had the chance to dive into an enriching intercultural experience. Thanks to the visit of Jinrong and Yujie, two UAB Master\u2019s degree students in Research in Education, the children were introduced to the traditional Chinese craft of paper-cutting, a popular pastime and decorative art form during the Spring Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the workshop, the students discovered that paper-cutting is often done in red, as the colour symbolises good luck and happiness in Chinese culture. They also learned that while there are many ways to master this craft, patience is always key. After practising with thin paper and learning from their mistakes, the children successfully created beautiful designs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquest mat\u00ed 31 de gener, coincidint amb l\u2019\u00faltim dia del Festival de la Primavera segons el calendari xin\u00e8s, l\u2019alumnat de cicle superior ha tingut l\u2019oportunitat de viure una experi\u00e8ncia intercultural de primera m\u00e0. Gr\u00e0cies a la visita de la Jinrong i la Yujie, dues estudiants del m\u00e0ster en Recerca en Educaci\u00f3 a la UAB, els i les Abelleons d\u2019or i Espiadimonis han apr\u00e8s sobre l\u2019art del retall de paper xin\u00e8s, una manualitat tradicional que es fa servir com a passatemps i decoraci\u00f3 de la llar en aquesta festivitat.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Durant el taller, els nens i nens han descobert que sovint es fa sovint en vermell, ja que aquest color simbolitza bona sort i felicitat en la cultura xinesa. Tamb\u00e9 han comprovat que, tot i que hi ha moltes maneres de dominar aquesta t\u00e8cnica, la paci\u00e8ncia \u00e9s sempre fonamental. Despr\u00e9s de practicar una bona estona en angl\u00e8s i aprendre dels seus errors, tots i totes han aconseguit crear van uns dissenys preciosos.<\/em><\/p>\n
