ENGLISH PROJECTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

This academic year 2021-2022, the students from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6, participate in three different English language projects: English Day, Cambridge Penpals and eTwinning.<\/p>\n

All three projects have in common two main goals: to use English in a real communicative context (through doing exchanges with others) and to enjoy learning a foreign language through playing. These projects allow students to use English in a functional and meaningful way.<\/p>\n

ENGLISH DAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Year 3 and Year 4 students participate in a project called \u201cEnglish Day\u201d at a county level<\/strong> in which they exchange letters, cards, videos\u2026 in English with students from other state schools. This year, the students from Year 3 are paired with Year 4 students from Col\u00b7legis Nous School<\/strong> and with Year 4 students from Abell\u00f3 School <\/strong>(both from Mollet del Vall\u00e8s). Year 4 students are paired with Year 4 students from Mogent school<\/strong> (Montorn\u00e8s del Vall\u00e8s).<\/p>\n

CAMBRIDGE PENPALS<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Year 5 students participate in a project called Cambridge Penpals<\/strong> in which they exchange letters, cards, videos, messages\u2026 at a national level <\/strong>through the Cambridge online platform. Our students are paired with Year 5 students from Veles e Vents School<\/strong> (from Alf\u00e0s del Pi, Alacant).<\/p>\n

ETWINNING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Year 6 students participate in a project called True Mirrors from eTwinning<\/strong>, in which they are paired with Year 5 & 6 students from the 14th Athens Primary School \u201cDimitris Pikionis\u201d <\/strong>(Greece). The students exchange different information in English by using the online platform eTwinning.<\/p>\n

SCHOOL RADIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Breaking news! This school year 21-22, Montseny School is also starting a new English project: The School Radio<\/strong>. Students will be able to create daily short news broadcasts and practise their oral skills in a functional way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
