We discovered that there are different trees <\/strong>in our garden with different names.<\/strong> Now, that there are flowers<\/strong> in our garden, we also discovered that they have different names<\/strong>… Also in English! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We discovered<\/strong> the name of different flowers<\/strong> in English by reading!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had the photos<\/strong> lot of flowers<\/strong> on one page…<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

and the names<\/strong> and the descriptions<\/strong> on another page.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In pairs, we read the descriptions<\/strong> and wrote<\/strong> the correct names under the photos<\/strong>. It was a bit difficult at first, but soon we noticed that by recognising numbers and colours<\/strong> (words that we are VERY familiar with) it was very easy<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doing achievable activities<\/strong> that like this, we develop strategies <\/strong>that make our reading<\/strong> (in both English and Catalan) better<\/strong> and we are motivated<\/strong> to read more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
