We discovered that we have a maple tree<\/strong> in the garden, which is the source of a delicious food… maple syrup!<\/strong> Have you tasted it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wanted to taste<\/strong> it but not by itself… It is very common to eat syrup together with pancakes<\/strong> so, it was time for us to learn how to cook pancakes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What were the ingredients<\/strong> to cook pancakes? We watched a <\/strong>video<\/strong> <\/a>to get the information and we were surprised to see that, in England, there is the pancake day<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After watching the video and playing a game<\/a> to recognise the vocabulary, it was time to get the recipe. It is very easy<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading<\/strong> a recipe in English<\/strong> is not very difficult because we can use the images<\/strong> and the similarities<\/strong> between English and Catalan<\/strong> words to understand the text, so we soon knew how to cook the pancakes. We were ready<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
