{"id":32989,"date":"2025-02-21T12:33:03","date_gmt":"2025-02-21T11:33:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/escolamartamata\/?p=32989"},"modified":"2025-03-07T20:48:48","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T19:48:48","slug":"lets-go-to-the-theatre-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/escolamartamata\/alicies25-26\/24-25english1r\/lets-go-to-the-theatre-2\/","title":{"rendered":"LET&#8217;S GO TO THE THEATRE!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yesterday we had a great opportunity to practise English while having a good time by watching a play: <strong><em>Sleeping Beauty (or not)<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>Mitjans<\/em>&#8221; and &#8220;<em>Grans<\/em>&#8221; had been preparing the theatre for weeks and they knew the story very well: it was a new version of the traditional fairy tale in which the princess, Aurora, changed the story to fit her true desires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students laughed and sang together with the characters and&#8230; some even became actors and danced or rode toy horses!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, students discovered that, knowing the context and some basic language, it is possible to understand a complex story with lots of unknown words. Why don&#8217;t you give it a go and watch cartoons or films in English?
