Va n\u00e9ixer el 30 de mar\u00e7 de 1853. Es va translladar al sud de Fran\u00e7a, on va morir el 1890. Va morir ben jove, nom\u00e9s tenia 37 anys. F<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">ou un\u00a0<\/span>pintor<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">\u00a0<\/span>postimpressionista holand\u00e8s,\u00a0 <span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">autor d&#8217;uns 900 quadres (27 d&#8217;aquests\u00a0<\/span>autoretrats<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">) i uns 1.600 dibuixos.\u00a0 <\/span>Theo van Gogh<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">. La figura central, en la vida de Van Gogh va ser el seu germ\u00e0 Theo van Gogh,\u00a0 que cont\u00ednuament i desinteressadament li don\u00e0 suport financer. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">Van Gogh fou un pioner de l&#8217;<\/span>expressionisme<span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: 1em;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Malgrat la qualitat de l&#8217;obra, calgu\u00e9 esperar a la seva mort perqu\u00e8 els m\u00e8rits li fossin reconeguts i es convert\u00eds en una gran figura de la pintura.
