At school, when spring arrives, we dedicate a day to celebrate ENGLISH DAY. This year, we celebrated it on Tuesday, March 25. Each time, we choose a country or an area of \u200b\u200ban English-speaking country and a character as a common thread to liven up the day. During the previous week we mainly learn about the location, the landscape, the culture, the music, the vocabulary, information about the main character and a song. This year we \u201cvirtually visited\u201d SCOTLAND and met the mythical and magical character: the Loch Ness monster, Nessie. During the day we do different activities: sports, activities using the vocabulary learned and manual activities. The final activity is a joint activity, it involves singing and dancing the song we have learned and that unites us with all the members of the school: children, teachers, caretakers, specialists, management team and even the janitor. We are preparing it with great enthusiasm, especially the teachers, and we are having a great time. Now we are already thinking about ENGLISH DAY for next year. A l\u2019escola, quan arriba la primavera, dediquem un dia per celebrar l\u2019ENGLISH DAY. Aquest any ho hem celebrat el dimarts dia 25 de mar\u00e7. Cada vegada escollim un pa\u00eds o una zona d\u2019un pa\u00eds de parla anglesa i un personatge com a fil conductor per animar la jornada. Durant la setmana pr\u00e8via aprenem sobretot la localitzaci\u00f3, el paisatge, la cultura, la m\u00fasica, el vocabulari, informaci\u00f3 sobre el personatge protagonista i una can\u00e7\u00f3. Aquest any hem \u201cvisitat virtualment\u201d ESC\u00d2CIA i conegut el personatge m\u00edtic i m\u00e0gic: el monstre del Llac Ness, el Nessie. Durant la jornada fem diferents activitats: esportives, activitats utilitzant el vocabulari apr\u00e8s i activitats manuals. L\u2019activitat final \u00e9s una activitat conjunta, es tracta de cantar i ballar la can\u00e7\u00f3 que hem apr\u00e8s i que ens uneix a tots els membres de l\u2019escola: infants, mestres, vetlladores, especialistes, equip directiu i fins i tot el conserge. Ho preparem amb moltes ganes, especialment les teachers i ens ho passem molt b\u00e9. Ara ja estem pensant en l\u2019ENGLISH DAY per l\u2019any que ve. Thank you to all of you!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
