El ti\u00f3, o tronc de fusta, es fa cagar a les llars la nit de la vig\u00edlia de Nadal. Fer cagar el ti\u00f3 \u00e9s un ritual d&#8217;origen rural molt antic i relacionat amb la natura. Es tracta d&#8217;un tronc d&#8217;arbre que regalava aliments, per\u00f2 el seu significat va molt m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 i augura el renaixement de la natura despr\u00e9s del solstici d&#8217;hivern. El ti\u00f3 es porta a casa i cada fam\u00edlia en t\u00e9 cura, tapant-lo amb una manta i donant-li aliments fins al dia que es fa cagar. Solia cagar les postres que es menjaven durant la celebraci\u00f3.
