As you know we are in a quarantine and step by step we will be able to do more and more thinks that we can’t do now.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

That is why we should practice this important grammar as it is perfect for this moment.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

You know what the verb “can” means “poder hacer o permitido”, and “can not (can’t)” means “no poder hacer, no permitido o prohibido”.<\/em><\/p>\n

AFFIRMATIVE<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0I can<\/strong> go out for a walk. (no puedo ver a mis amigos hoy)<\/p>\n

I am allowed to<\/strong> go out for a walk (tengo permiso para salir a pasear)<\/p>\n

It is prohivited<\/strong> to play with friends. (Est\u00e1 prohibido jugar con amigos)<\/p>\n

NEGATIVE (not)<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can’t<\/strong> play with my friends yet. (No puedo jugar con mis amigo a\u00fan)<\/p>\n

It is not allowed<\/strong> to play with friends yet. (No est\u00e1 permitido jugar con amigos a\u00fan)<\/p>\n

We are using a lot the word “allowed”.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Allowed” is the opposited to “prohivited”. (Permitido es lo opuesto a prohibido).<\/em><\/p>\n
