After listening to the stories, the children created a small puppet inspired by the characters. This allowed them to follow the narrative more actively and take part in the story told by the storyteller, making the experience both engaging and memorable.

The second workshop, entitled “Superheroes”, was designed for students from 3rd to 6th grade and centred on practising descriptive language. Each student had to invent their own superhero or heroine, giving them a name, special powers, physical appearance, personality traits, and explaining how their character helped others. They also described what their superhero liked and disliked, and how they hid their superpowers in daily life—how they behaved like an ordinary person when they were not on a mission. To complete the activity, every student drew their superhero, bringing their ideas to life in a creative and personal way.

All the students thoroughly enjoyed the workshops and valued the chance to interact in English with a native speaker. It was a motivating experience that strengthened their confidence and encouraged them to use the language in a natural and meaningful context.

#tallersangles #englishworkshops

During January of last school year, our students had the opportunity to take part in two enriching English language workshops led by a native speaker.
