The students of Middle and Superior Cycle are learning about a contemporary artist called Yayoi Kusama<\/strong>. She is a Japanese artist and she is well-known for her dots obsession.<\/strong> She works primarily in sculpture and installation, and is also active in painting, performance, video art, fashion, poetry, fiction, and other arts<\/b>.The students are learning about her life and art by doing different class activities in the English&Art subject. They really love her art and enjoy the activities proposed in class.<\/p>\n

Below you can see\u00a0 the students’ creations which represent the Obliteration Room, a very popular installation of the artist. <\/em>It is\u00a0 a white space \u00a0covered in colourful dots. Also, you can click on the following link to watch a video about Kusama. (VIDEO<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Els alumnes de Cicle Mitj\u00e0 i Superior estan aprenent sobre la vida de Yayoi Kusama, una artista contempor\u00e0nia. La Yayoi \u00e9s una artista coneguda per la seva obsessi\u00f3 pels punts de colors. Treballa amb una gran varietat de disciplines art\u00edstiques, incloent la pintura, el collage, l\u2019escultura, l\u2019art performance i les instal\u00b7lacions. Els nostres alumnes estan coneixent la seva vida i obra realitzant diferents activitats art\u00edstiques a les classes de ENGLISH&ART. Ho estan disfrutant molt!<\/p>\n

A sota trobareu imatges de les creacions dels nostres alumnes de l’obra Obliteration Room<\/em>, una instal\u00b7laci\u00f3\u00a0 molt popular de l’artista.
