This year in <\/span>English & Art <\/b>subject our Superior and Middle cycle students are learning about different artists. During the 1st term, they learned about <\/span>Fernando Botero<\/b> (a Colombian artist) and <\/span>Piet Mondrian<\/b> (a Dutch artist). They learned about their lives, art style and technique.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Fernando Botero is well known for<\/span> his monumental bronze <\/span>sculptures<\/span> and distinctive <\/span>paintings<\/span> of human and animal figures in which volume is exaggerated and curves are the main characteristic. On the other hand, Piet Mondrian is famous for his abstract paintings and the use of straight lines and primary colors. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now, they are learning about\u00a0Yayoi Kusama<\/strong>,a modern Japanese artist, who is very popular these days for his obsessive colorful dots.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAquest any els alumnes de Cicle Superior i Cicle Mitj\u00e0 estan aprenent moltes coses sobre diferents artistes. Durant el primer trimestre, van aprendre sobre la vida i obra de Fernando Botero<\/strong> (un artista colombi\u00e0) i Piet Mondrian<\/strong> (un artista holand\u00e9s). Els nens i nenes han apr\u00e8s moltes coses sobre la seva vida, el seu estil i la seva t\u00e8cnica art\u00edstica.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fernando Botero<\/strong> \u00e9s conegut per les seves grans escultures de bronze i els seus quadres d\u2019animals i figures humanes, on el volum n\u2019\u00e9s exagerat i les l\u00ednies corbes en s\u00f3n les principals protagonistes. D\u2019altra banda, Piet Mondrian<\/strong> \u00e9s fam\u00f3s pels seus quadres abstractes i l\u2019\u00fas de les l\u00ednies rectes i colors primaris.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En aquest moment els alumnes treballen l\u2019artista Yayoi Kusama<\/strong>, una artista Japonesa, molt coneguda aquests dies pels seus obsessius punts de colors.<\/span><\/p>\n
