From the English Language Department, we are really chuffed to announce that we have already started a new etwinning Project in La Cabana School!

Des del departament de llengua anglesa, estem molt contentes d’anunciar-vos que ja tenim iniciat el nou projecte eTwinning a La Cabana!

This school year we are three schools working together: Grindsted Skole, from Vódskov, in Dinamarca,  Prat de la Riba school, from Reus and… our school! La Cabana, from Les Cabanyes.  This year, pupils in the 1st Cycle are those who will develop this project.

Aquest curs treballem juntes 3 escoles: Grindsted Skole, de Vódskov, a Dinamarca,  l’Escola Prat de la Riba, de Reus i… nosaltes! Escola La Cabana, de Les Cabanyes.  Enguany l’alumnat de1r cicle serà l’encarregat de dur a terme el projecte.

 

As we already explained to the involved famílies (you can see the presentation here), the project came up due to the professional stay, in the 1st term, of the teacher of English in the Danish School. During her stay, teachers could thread the needle and start hatching the project.

Tal i com es va explicar a les famílies (podeu veure la presentació), el projecte va sorgir arrel de l’estada professional, al 1r trimestre, de l’especialista de llengües estrangeres de l’escola a l’escola danesa. Durant l’estada, les mestres van poder posar fil a l’agulla i començar a teixir el projecte.

The title of the project is  “How can we Exchange our Culture? Let’s be Global Citizens!” and this time we are collaborators/partners, not founders. There is a double aim: to make a cultural Exchange and create and design, collaboratively, a digital book where the main characters are meaningful characters among our students.

Aquest projecte es titula “Com podem intercanviar la nostra cultura?  Siguem ciutadanes del món!” i aquest cop, nosaltres som col·laboradors, no fundadors. L’objectiu és doble: fer intercanvi cultural i crear i dissenyar, de manera col·laborativa, un conte digital on els protagonistes seran personatges molt significatius per al nostre alumnat.
