A new school year has started full of positive energy. Summer holidays seem really far away, but… we have just started to report breaking news: in our third consecutive year developing and leading eTwinning Projects, we have achieved another National Quality Label (NQL): the third one!!! Amazing! This is a positive and real proof  that English teachers and pupils in La Cabana school  work hard and well. Therefore, we really deserved this prize and recognition.

 

Un altre curs escolar ha començat ple d’energia positiva. Les vacances d’estiu ja ens semblen molt lluny, però… acabem de començar i us informem d’una notícia d’última hora: en el nostre tercer any consecutiu desenvolupant i liderant Projectes eTwinning, hem aconseguit un altre Segell de Qualitat Nacional (SQN): el tercer! Impressionant! Aquesta és una prova real i positiva que les mestres d’anglès i l’alumnat de l’Escola La Cabana treballem dur i bé. Per tant, realment ens mereixiem aquest premi i reconeixement.

All five teachers (3 from Základná Skola and 2 from Escola La Cabana) involved in the international eTwinning Project “RUNNING OUT OF WATER BREAKOUT: What can we do to save water and make it available for all?” achieved the NQL and so the corresponding 131 students aged from 8 to 12 (74 from Základná Skola and 57 from Escola La Cabana).  So… HATS OFF TO EVERYONE! Can you imagine how to engage both schools communities in a unique project with this huge number of students?Just food for thought, but we made it possible!  It was a stunning and rewarding experience indeed from which we, as teachers, are really proud.

Tots cinc mestres (3 de l’escola Zákldná i 2 de l’escola La Cabana) involucrats en el Projecte Internacional eTwinning “ENS QUEDEM SENSE AIGUA – ESCAPADA: Què podem fer per estalviar aigua i fer-la arribar a tothom?” van aconseguir el SQN i, per tant, els 131 alumnes corresponents entre els 8 i 12 anys (74 de l’escola Zákldná i 57 de l’escola La Cabana). Per tant… ENHORABONA A TOTHOM! Us podeu imaginar com involucrar a les dues comunitats escolars en un sol projecte amb aquest nombre tan gran d’estudiants? Només perquè us feu a la idea, però ho vam fer possible! Realment va ser una experiència impressionant i gratificant de la qual nosaltres, com a mestres, ens sentim molt orgulloses.

Needless to say, THANKS A BUNCH  to all the families who believed in us. And obviously, A HUGE THANK YOU to both: the management team (for believing in the project and facilitating all the necessary arrangements, to be able to carry it forward)  and  to the rest of the staff teaching  team (for their understanding in all changes that we had to do in timetables to arrange different activities). Without all of you this wouldn’t have been possible.

No cal ni dir, MOLTÍSSIMES GRÀCIES a totes les famílies que van creure amb nosaltres. I òbviament, UN GRÀCIES MOLT GRAN d’una banda a l’equip directiu (per creure amb el projecte i facilitar tots els canvis necessaris per poder-lo tirar endavant) i a la resta del Claustre (per la seva comprensió en els canvis horaris per poder dur a terme diferents activitats). Sense vosaltres no hagués estat possible.

Ben aviat tot l’alumnat involucrat en aquest projecte rebrà el certificat del SQN mitjançant el correu dels vostres tutors/es legals. Aneu mirant les vostres safates d’entrada.

And with this good taste in our mouths, we say goodbye to the eTwinning projects. It has been three very intense years, in which not everyone has seen it the same way, and now we need to gather strength and new ideas for other issues.

I amb aquest bon sabor de boca, ens acomiadem dels projectes eTwinning. Han estat tres anys molt intensos, en els quals no tothom ho ha vist de la mateixa manera, i ara necessitem agafar forces i noves idees per a altres assumptes.
